If Only We Had This Kind Of Judges!
from the Old Testament in The Bible, the book of II Chronicles, chapter 19, verses 5-10)

5 - And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,

6 - And said to the judges, Take Heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.

7 - Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

8 - Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the Lord, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

9 - And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

10 - And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the Lord, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

If there was ever a day when there was a tremendous need for honorable judges, it's today. The ones in position need to make certain they perform their duties uprightly and many more just judiciaries need to be placed on the benches where they are needed. It is abhorrent that so many judges (especially Federal District and State Supreme Court Judges) are getting away with making laws rather than seeing to it that the people adhere to the intent of established law. It is even more abhorrent that the US Senate contains so many enemies of righteousness that our good President is finding it almost impossible to get any upright judges appointed.

We need to pray for God's protection and blessing upon those judges who seek to uphold the law and that those who do not might somehow come under the conviction of God's Holy Spirit to change and become faithful to "His Written Will", the Bible. That's what I think!

These editorials will not always be a daily product. However, as I am able I will endeavor to bring to writ my reflections on society.

Have the best day you have ever had and may they get progressively better every day hereafter!
